County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas leads Rally and March Against Sex Trafficking of Children, Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The rally is scheduled to assemble at 217 N. Long Beach Boulevard in Compton and the march will go north on Long Beach Boulevard and end at Helen Keller Elementary School in Lynwood. Rain or Shine, hundreds of people are expected to assemble for this monumental event. The event takes place Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with elected officials from local and state offices joining County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas in escorting Compton and Lynwood families in the fight against this horrific problem. This event takes place five years after the City of Lynwood's Councilwoman Maria Santillan-Beas lead a march and rally against prostitution in the same area.
