Photo Gallery: South Gate City Hall Dresses Up for the Holidays

Hundreds gathered at South Gate's City Hall this Thursday for dancing, mariachi, food, and Holiday cheer.

The wet weather could not stop South Gate residents from coming out to enjoy the City's tree lighting ceremony.

Dancing and singing from South Gate's public and private schools kept all in attendance merry throughout the evening.

South East High presented a beautiful mariachi reminiscent of the sounds found in old Mexico while South Gate High wowed the audience with the talented band led by bandleader Ruben A. Gonzalez.

The finale brought the big man himself, Santa Claus, and the beautifully decorated Christmas tree for all to enjoy.

Thanks to Tampico and Jarritos, no one was left thirsty or hungry as tamales were brought in, in full swing for the Holiday Season.
