On Friday June 1, Saturday, June 2, and on Sunday, June 3, 2012, Tweedy Mile Association, in cooperation with the City of South Gate, will celebrate its 22nd Annual Tweedy Mile Street Fair. Taking place between California and Alexander streets, on Tweedy Bl., the fair attracts over 250,000 visitors from the Los Angeles County South East communities.

Carnival ride “early bird” discounted tickets, will be available for sale from Monday April 2, 2012 to Thursday, May 31, 202, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Please call on April 2, 2012 at 323-564-8233 to confirm the following ticket sale information: Advance tickets will be for sales at 3703 Tweedy Bl. corner of San Carlos Street in South Gate. The Fair will be open to the public on: Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m.
With the small town flair in the middle of urban sprawl, the Fair offers a safe family environment for visitors that enjoy carnival rides, entertainment on two main-performance stages, international foods, a petting zoo, and arts and crafts.

The event is produced by Pageantry Productions and Tweedy Mile Association (TMA) in cooperation with the City of South Gate. TMA is a 501c(3) non-profit organization.

Any licensed vendors from any community in Southern California, and beyond, can reserve a booth by filling out an application.
