Tree Lighting to Brighten the Holidays for Lynwood and South Gate

South Gate and Lynwood residents will get a chance to celebrate the arrival of the holiday during the traditional tree lightings.

With Thanksgiving now behind us, it’s time to get into the holiday spirit in both South Gate and Lynwood by celebrating traditional tree lightings.

Lynwood residents have the chance to celebrate with the Los Angeles County Supervisor who represents their community, Mark Ridley-Thomas. The Supervisor La Alameda Plaza and the Florence-Firestone/Walnut Park Chamber of Commerce present the annual tree Saturday, Nov. 30.

The festivities are from 4 to 9 pm. The Supervisor will be there at 7 p.m. for the tree lighting ceremony.
