Nota en español (Spanish version)

Our Patch Latino team is growing! Please welcome Angel Garcia, our talented sales manager for South Gate, Baldwin Park and Lynwood Patch Latino.

We asked Angel to sit down for a few minutes to answer a handful of questions. Here's the 411 on Angel:

Patch: As an advertising manager, what's the best part of your job?

Angel: Interacting with the community and bringing Patch awareness to not just local businesses but to local residents, too. Once they learn what Patch is, they are usually pretty excited about it and can't wait to get to know the site!

Patch: What do you find special about Patch?

Angel: Having worked with local newspapers for the past 5 years, I can say that Patch is unlike anything else around. It's not just about news — it's about bringing the community together, something that I am very passionate about myself.

Patch: What are your personal interests? What do you love about Southern California the most?

Angel: I love music, traveling, checking out new bars and restaurants, going to all sorts of concerts, playing my sax, cooking, and learning to DJ.

Patch: What's the best way for people to contact you about advertising on Patch?

Angel: They can call me at 562-618-8780 or email me at angel.garcia@patch.com.

One of the critics say the movie is set to modern music. I will not watch if this is true. TheRead More 1920's music is 1/2 of what made the Gatsby's memorable. Modern music will take away from the story of Scott Fitgerald's generation.
