Five Things: Business Expo, Blogs, Deputies Salary Increase

Here are five things to start off your day in South Gate and Lynwood: 

1. Deputies and probation officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) will be given a salary increase after county officials approved it. 
2. The Greater Lynwood Chamber of Lynwood  and five other local Chambers, including South Gate, are to meet for the first multi-chamber Business Expo from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bateman Hall in Lynwood.

4. South Gate and Lynwood will see mostly patchy and fog filled skies throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. Highs will stick in the  lower 80s.
