The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) will be carrying out a DUI checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and the 105 Freeway.
“I know that the individuals we are taking into custody are not from Lynwood, they are people traversing through our city, if you are aware of those folks get the word out,” said Captain Joseph M. Gooden of the LASD’s Century Sheriff station at a recent council meeting. “My goal is that we have 0 arrests.”
