Super Bowl News: Beyonce Prepares for Halftime Show (With Video)

News leading up to Sunday's NFL title game between the Ravens and the 49ers.

The Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers will be Sunday, Feb. 3. The game will be televised on CBS, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. (PST)

The Super Bowl halftime show has gotten to be about as much of an event as the game itself, with a superstar performer and the ensuing celebrity buzz.

And so it is in 2013, with Beyonce the scheduled performer. She follows a long list of celebs, such as Madonna (in 2012), Tom Petty, the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.

This year, the buzz is not just about what Beyonce will perform in the 12-minute set. In meeting the Super Bowl media Thursday (Jan. 31), she also had to deal with a possible Destiny's Child reunion and whether she was "lip-synching" her performance of the National Anthem at the Presidential Inauguration on January 21.

In an ABC News post, Beyonce acknowledged that she did not actually sing the National Anthem, but mouthed a pre-recorded track. Also, a Destiny's Child reunion is not planned for the Super Bowl.

But will Beyonce's husband, Jay-Z, join her onstage at the Super Bowl gig? What will her set consist of?

49ers' Moss says he's 'best receiver ever': Randy Moss is no stranger to the Super Bowl, having been there with New England. But he got everyone's attention this week when he proclaimed himself the best receiver in NFL history.

Yes, he said, that includes Jerry Rice, the all-time leader in touchdown receptions, with 197. Moss has 156.

"It's my personal opinion," Moss told reporters. "(Rice) has the numbers but I don't believe in numbers."

Rice, now an ESPN analyst, responded: "You have to look at the stats, you have to look at how you impacted the game, and it's all about winning this right here, this is it, the Super Bowl, and I was fortunate to win three."

One of the critics say the movie is set to modern music. I will not watch if this is true. TheRead More 1920's music is 1/2 of what made the Gatsby's memorable. Modern music will take away from the story of Scott Fitgerald's generation.
