LYNWOOD (CNS) - A second suspect who was being sought in connection with
an armed carjacking today in Compton was found dead inside a vehicle in the
Lynwood area of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

The man's body was found about 10 a.m. at an undisclosed location, said sheriff's Sgt. James Duran of the Century Station. His name was not immediately released.

The fatal shooting occurred some time before the body was discovered, Duran said. Investigators believe he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the sergeant said.

According to KNX Newsradio, deputies heard a gunshot as they were approaching a Ford Explorer, and backed off for a time before moving in and finding the suspect dead inside.

The carjacking occurred about 2:40 a.m. in Compton, and deputies arrested one man a short time afterward when the stolen vehicle crashed near Long Beach Boulevard and the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, Duran said. The name of the arrested suspect was not immediately released.

Authorities set up a perimeter in the area as they sought the second man, who fled on foot, Duran said. No one was injured in the carjacking, he said.

One of the critics say the movie is set to modern music. I will not watch if this is true. TheRead More 1920's music is 1/2 of what made the Gatsby's memorable. Modern music will take away from the story of Scott Fitgerald's generation.
