The two detained suspects were apprehended in the Watts area of Los Angeles, after short vehicle pursuit by officers on the 105 Freeway. The suspects tried to escape in a burgundy colored vehicle, shortly after the Police arrived to the crime scene.

As a result, the South Gate Police Department is confident that it has enough evidence to find the two remaining suspects.
