UPDATE: LASD Investigating Man 'Down' Call in Lynwood

A homicide bureau spokesperson told Patch that the incident was not a homicide.

Update at 4:06 p.m. 

Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) are no longer at the scene of the incident, where watch commanders from the LASD Century Station told Patch, that the body of an adult male was found inside a vehicle.

The latter was found in connection to a call for assistance, that was described by an LASD watch commander, where a victim was described as  an "adult male down."

The car was said to be located in the parking lot of BestWay Market on the corner of Long Beach Boulevard and Tweedy Boulevard in Lynwood. The authorities have not released any more details as to the exact condition of the victim or as to what is believed to have happened. 

The LASD Homicide bureau told Patch that one of their detective's was sent to investigate. Further adding that the incident was, "not a homicide."

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) has told Patch that investigators are currently investigating a "man down" call on the corner of Tweedy Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard in Lynwood. 

"There was a 'adult male down inside a car' call," said a watch commander from the LASD Century station, which patrols Lynwood.  "We are out there now investigating." 

Not a lot of information has been realeased on the circumstances of this incident. However, the LASD Homicide Bureau told Patch that investigators were on the scene and that the incident was not a, "homicide."
