LASD Seeks Public's Help to Solve Recent Murder of Shopkeeper

The shooting took place within an unincorporated area of Los Angeles, but close to the the border with Lynwood.

 

Detectives from the homicide bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD)  are asking for the publics help as they continue to investigate the murder of Sylvia Cho, 56, a liquor store owner from Pasadena.

The shooting death is said to have taken took place 11019 S. Alameda Street at 3:40 p.m. on January 31st.

Cho, the mother of two children, was found dead on the floor of Deli Mart Market, the business she co-owned with her husband.

The area was listed as Lynwood address in several media and official reports. However, Lieutenant Ernie Chavez of the LASD Century Station told Patch that the address is close to Lynwood, but falls within an unincorporated area of Los Angeles county.

Investigators need the public's assistance as they try and identify the suspect or suspects behind this fatal shooting.
