A man was fatally shot today in Lynwood, authorities said.
Detectives were sent to the 3500 block of Burton Avenue about 12:45 p.m., the sheriff's department reported. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives.
