Around 275 South Gate families received free toys as result of this program.

For almost 20 years the  Police Officers Association (POA) of the South Gate Police Department (SGPD) has delivered toys during the holiday season to needy families in South Gate through its Santa-Cop program.

The toys are provided with the help of donations from both inviduals and businesses. This past Friday and Saturday, police officers and volunteers drove throughout South Gate to hand deliver toys to approximately 275 families.
