A truck hauling a load of recycled glass overturned today on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in South Gate, blocking all lanes for a time and all but one for several hours, authorities said
The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. north of Imperial Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.
One northbound lane was reopened after about 30 minutes, but the other lanes remained closed until just before 1 p.m. -- as was the Imperial Highway ramp to the northbound freeway -- while crews worked to clear the scene, CHP officials said.
