According to televised reports, the woman shot dead Thursday at a liquor store owned the shop with her husband.

The woman, a wife and mother of two children, was shot multiple times during a robbery, according to CBS2.

A store clerk was gunned down in Lynwood Thursday night, apparently during a robbery, homicide investigators said.

The shooting in the 11000 block of South Alameda Street was reported about 6 p.m., according to Los Angeles sheriff's Deputy Kim Manatt.

Officials said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
