California Election Results 2012

Below are the electoral results of the California candidates that will represent the areas of South Gate and Lynwood in their elected capacity:

United States Senator

Dianne Feinstein, Democratic, 61.4% (Winner)

Elizabeth Emken, Republican, 38.6% 

United States Representative; District 44 

Janice Hahn, Democratic, 60% (Winner)

Laura Richardson, Democratic, 40%

State Senator; 33rd District

Ricardo Lara, Democratic, 80.5% (Winner)

Lee H. Chauser, Peace and Freedom (write-in), 19.5% 

State Assembly; District 63

Anthony Rendon, Democratic, 74% (Winner)

Jack Guerrero, Republican, 26%

District Attorney, Loas Angeles County

Jackie Lacey, 55% (Winner)

Alan Jackson, 45%

This election also had many measures, including Lynwood Unified School District's (LUSD) Measure K, which so far seems to be heading towards being approved after obtaining the required percentage.

Yes, 55.72% (Winner, but only as of preliminary results, election still needs to be verified to be made official, according to LUSD official.)

No, 44.28%
