South Gate Municipal Elections: Final Results

The remaining ballots have all been counted.

 

On Monday, the South Gate City Clerk's Office released the final tally of votes from last Tuesday's elections. All remaining provisional and vote by mail ballots have now been counted. The incumbents in the city council race, Mayor Bill De Witt and Vice-Mayor Gil Hurtado, were able to maintain their lead over the challenger, Ricardo Reyes. 

Carmen Avalos, South Gate City Clerk, told Patch that the election is expected to be certified on March 26.
