Lynwood’s Measure K Passes

The results show that over 55 percent of votes were in favor.

The final tally on Measure K stands at 57.38% in favor and 42.62% against. A spokesperson from the Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder, confirmed that these were in fact the final results.

This measure allows the board of the Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD) to issue general obligation bonds in order to raise funds for school facilities.

The measure needed a 55% approval to go through, and more time was needed to ensure the proper counting of all votes.
