City Hall

City Hall is a government facility that is situated near the center of South Gate. It houses a number of departments, including Public Works, Business License and Community Development. The City Manager is also located on site, along with the City Council, Mayor and the City Clerk. The large building with Roman pillars features a time capsule just outside the front doors. Inside, the walls are lined with city history and displays by students and local artists. City Council Meetings are held every Tuesday and Thursday of the month at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers.
