This is one of the area’s locations for El Pollo Loco, a popular Southern California family-owned fast-food chain. Its specialty is flame grilled chicken that is marinated in a fresh citrus juice. There is no frying or breaded chicken at this restaurant. There’s also a salsa bar where customers may help themselves to fresh salsa, spicy natural sauces and jalapenos. El Pollo Loco started a catering division, where they prepare large party-size platters of all of their favorite recipes. These need to be ordered in advance and pre-paid. It’s located at a busy intersection so the drive-thru window is a popular pit-stop for diners on the go. Make sure to save room for dessert such as custard egg-flan and ice cream that’s dipped in chocolate.
