Teen Challenge Ministery Institute

Teen Challenge Ministry Institute is a religious institute that offers a 1 year program for ministry leadership and training.  It works with students to ready them for staff positions at teen challenge centers throughout the nation, as well as to lead at their local churches.  The facility was established in Riverside, California in 1981, but soon moved to South Gate, where is currently resides, in 1986.  The facility provides classes, bible studies, residences and a church on its campus.  The training institute also offers food bank services and other community outreach programs.   Classes are all Christian based, with an emphasis on leadership and community empowerment.  Students are also able to study specific vocations, as well as gain their GED and participate in advising sessions.
