The shooting took place on November 20, 2012, at Las Palomas Meat Market, which is located in 12400 block of Long Beach Boulevard in Lynwood.

“The evidence appears to show that the suspects shot the victim during an armed robbery,” said Detective Q. Rodriguez of the LASD to Patch last December. “He suffered at least one gunshot wound.”

The suspects have been identified as Donald Simpson, 36, Davion Woodspage, 20,  as well as two female juveniles, who have only been described by their ages, 14 and 15.

All have been charged with felony murder and robbery.

According to the press release Simpson has also been charged with, “molestation of a 14 or 15 year old by someone 10 years or more older than the victim.”

Woodspage is currently being held without bail in Sacramento, while Simpson is currently in a facility in Los Angeles County.

The two females are being held in a juvenile facility.

“As those suspects were arrested and booked by various police agencies for unrelated crimes committed in Los Angeles and Sacramento County, they were subsequently charged with the November robbery and murder,” said Sgt. Peña.

The LASD has yet to release booking photos of the suspects.
