LYNWOOD (CNS) - A collision in Lynwood that injured five people may have been the result of a driver who was under the influence of nitrous oxide, said the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) in a recent press-release.

The collision occurred on Monday, March 18, at Atlantic Avenue and Imperial Highway, according to a detective with the sheriff's Century Station.

The suspect vehicle was going west on Imperial Highway at a high rate of speed when it rear ended a vehicle that was stopped for a red light at Atlantic, said Detective Jason Paar.
